Students have been:

• Engineering a microbes to produce proteins and new chemistries.

• Building devices that interact and interface with biological systems.

• Growing and work with living materials to make more sustainable products.

• Exploring cellular agriculture.

• Learning to propagate, engineer, and interrogate biology using mammalian cells, plant cells, algae, yeast, bacteria and archaea.
